General Membership
Open to Everyone

  • General Membership includes: One-year affiliation with a well-respected tri-state area childbirth education organization

  • Discounted rate for workshops

  • Subscription to The Journal of Perinatal Education

  • Access to the CEA/MNY Google Group with over 200 birth professionals

Cost: $30

Teacher Certification Program (TCP) Membership
Open to students accepted into the CEA/MNY Teacher Certification Program

Teacher Certification Program Membership includes:

  • Two-year affiliation with a well-respected tri-state area childbirth education organization

  • A comprehensive childbirth education program that prepares lay people and healthcare professionals to teach independent Cooperative Childbirth Education classes

  • An experienced mentor to advise you throughout your course of study

  • Discounted rate for workshops

  • Subscription to The Journal of Perinatal Education

  • Access to the CEA/MNY Google Group with over 200 birth professionals

Cost: $225

TCP Extension Membership

TCP students who have not finished the certification requirements within the two years may apply for an extension to the program and continue the student benefits.

Cost: $100

Professional Membership
Open to CEA/MNY Certified Cooperative Childbirth Educators

Professional Membership includes:

  • Affiliation with a well-respected tri-state area childbirth education organization

  • Your name included as a recommended instructor on the Teacher Directory

  • Discounted rate for workshops

  • Subscription to The Journal of Perinatal Education

  • Access to the CEA/MNY Google Group with over 200 birth professionals

Cost: $65 for one year, $100 for two years

Organizational Membership
Open to organizations and their members that support CEA/MNY’s mission to promote cooperative education and evidence-based maternity care.

Organizational Membership includes:

  • One-year affiliation for your members with a well-respected childbirth education organization in the tri-state area

  • The option to have your organization’s information (logo and website) listed on the CEA/MNY website under “Group Members”

  • A “Proud to be a Member of the Childbirth Education Association of Metropolitan New York” digital button to be placed on your website

  • Discounted rate for your members to attend our workshops

  • Access to the CEA/MNY Google Group with over 200 birth professionals

To become a member of CEA/MNY and join a community of leading childbirth educators, please fill out the form below. Once the form is completed, you will be directed to a page where you can purchase your one year membership (two years for Teacher Certification Program students.)
